      Very interesting!  Looking at OpenCyc, is their Textually Specific Work equivalent to the Freebase Written Work?

        Their definition of literary work definitely seems to coincide with Freebase's written work type, although instances of Translation would probably also map to it.  Textually-specific work corresponds most closely with the Book Edition type, if I understand things correctly (which I might not), although this necessarily only applies to books.
